This 15- 19 week-long internship will provide you with an extensive training and development program with hands-on, real-life business training and experience. As an Inbound Sales and Guest Service Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in Meet and Greet sessions with Executive Team Members and various Corporate Directors. There are also a variety of shadow opportunities available, allowing for a well-rounded internship experience. Essential Functions: Sales Using learned Entertainment Cruises Sales Skills to explain products or services and prices, and answer questions from guests Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally Obtain guest information and accurately enter orders into reservation systems Deliver prepared sales talks, using sales scripting to describe products or services in order to persuade potential guests to purchase a product or service Convert the maximum number of calls to sales Adjust sales statements to better target the needs and interests of specific individuals Assist with outbound telephone promotions to existing guests Guest Service Resolve guest problems utilizing strong guest service skills and exercising diplomacy Utilize appropriate methods to note important guest information and special requests Other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor on duty Accountabilities: The successful Inbound Sales and Guest Service Intern will personally contribute to the unforgettable guest experience, be favorably viewed by supervisors and peers, and be swift and efficient in the execution of their assigned duties. Performance will be measured by sales bookings, management evaluation, and feedback from guests and peers on the citys team. Job Specifications / qualifications: High school degree required, some college experience/degree is preferred Must be earning an Associates or Bachelors Degree in Sales, Public Relations, Communications, Hospitality, Tourism Management or any Business-related fieldcandidates earning their Bachelors should preferably be in their sophomore or junior year Expected to meet established booking conversion rates, upsell rates and other performance metrics associated with position Must have excellent oral and written communication skills expression and comprehension Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus One (1) year guest service experience preferred; call center/reservation experience a plus Must be available to work 20-40 hours per week, including required weekend and holiday availability; schedule is subject to change weekly according to operational needs Must be reliable, responsible, punctual and dependable Must possess a service orientation Proficient computer skills including typing skills and ability to navigate through multiple computer systems Must be detail-oriented and thorough Must deal calmly and effectively with high-stress situations *For purposes of this job description only, references to the Company are to the following subsidiaries of Entertainment Cruises Inc.: Premier Yachts, Inc., Mystic Blue Cruises, Inc., Seadog Ventures, Inc., and Spirit Cruises, LLC.
