Position Summary
The Associate- Workforce Management Consultant position is a role reporting to Internal Audit’s VP – Workforce Management Consultant. This position is responsible for assisting in the delivery and execution of both the global and America’s workforce management strategies that will transform the end-to-end lifecycle of Internal Audit employees. The Internal Audit Workforce Management Team partners with key internal stakeholders including Human Resources to ensure an understanding of Internal Audit’s global agenda to effectively leverage/enhance/develop tools and processes that will optimize resource planning and transparency within the organization.
Travel may be required for the position, with an estimated range of 10-20%. Key Accountabilities:
Continue to enhance and oversee the overall day-to-day management and advancement of the global workforce management initiatives that help develop and retain a high performing and skilled workforce. Activities may include: Assist in the annual skills assessment process and determine/develop appropriate solutions (e.g., technical training, rotation programs) to enhance workforce capability Support workforce programs that enable employee mobility and career progression Facilitate employee focus groups and leverage feedback to identify opportunities to enhance employee experience Assist in the design, execution, and day to day management of Internal Audit’s internship program Assist in third party vendor management and budget oversight of workforce management initiatives Support the optimization of communication channels to enable change initiatives Assist in the execution of regional and global employee conferences Manage Internal Audit’s intranet page and workforce management SharePoint site Operate with an innovative and flexible mindset by continuously identifying ways to improve department practices to enhance consistency, efficiency, quality and/or value. Act as a leader and role model to develop and promote a work place culture that values diversity of thought, promotes integrity and creates an atmosphere that supports coaching and fosters accountability; engage as a teammate across peer group while also operating within industry standard methodologies, applicable regulations, and internal and external professional practice expectations. Generate insightful, meaningful observations that effectively convey significance and impact on risk and/or risk management practices. Lead clear, crisp, formal discussions with business partners throughout the duration of projects or initiatives to communicate status or concerns.
Qualifications Education and Certifications: A Bachelor’s Degree at an accredited College or University Training or Communication Certifications preferred Skills and Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Resource and Talent Management, Workforce Operations or Human Resources experience Proven track record in project management and coordination / integration efforts across multiple groups Proven ability to lead and execute complex projects and deliverables Experience with the financial industry and related markets, related regulatory bodies, and current industry events and trends preferred Knowledge and experience of global workforce management competencies (e.g., planning and budgeting exercises, communications, vendor management, resource management) and global transformation projects Strong critical thinking skills to identify pragmatic recommendations within an evolving and complex environment Demonstrated proficiency in technology as required for assigned areas (Workday, MS Office, SharePoint etc.) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong organizational and presentation skills Excellent communication (verbal, written and listening) and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with all levels in the department Attention to detail, adaptable and able to work with minimal supervision
