Other tasks will be required related to storm water management, flood plain studies, hydraulic analysis and design, IDOT Location Drainage Studies and storm water BMP selection. The candidate should have a strong oral and written communication skills with experience with hydraulic and hydrology modeling software including HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, PondPack, StormCAD and SWMM/HydroCAD.Typical work tasks include:•Development of drainage design plans using MicroStation software.•Assist with the development of roadway drainage plan documents and reports•Assist with the development preparation of quantity spreadsheets.•Perform other professional services to support project demands of the office.•Bachelors degree in civil engineering with a focus on hydrology or hydraulics. Certified Floodplain Manager or an interest in achieving IDOT, Illinois Tollway, Chicago Division of Water Management drainage experience. Familiarity with DuPage County DEC, ACOE, MWRD, and other storm water agencies and ordinances
