This paid  Marketing focused internship  provides opportunities for a student to experience several facets of the marketing organization and initiatives at IDEAL INDUSTRIES INC., and it's Technology business unit. Responsibilities

IDEAL Technology Group Marketing Intern:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Internship will be focused primarily around assisting the IDEAL Technology Group Marketing Specialist in implementing the group’s Marketing plan. The main focuses will be around digital communications to build customer awareness of both brands
  • Create/report on Social Media content for the various Technology Group platforms (Audacy Wireless Controls Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn; PowerPuck Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn)
  • Work closely with the Marketing Specialist as well as other members of the Audacy and PowerPuck engineering/sales teams to learn brands and culture
  • Assist with coordination of off-site trade/customer events
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in digital Marketing, and research/implement trends into routine if applicable.
  • Assist Marketing Specialist with collateral (catalog, printed material, website, social media) copywriting, proofing and updating as needed
  • Promote the PowerPuck system on site at Northern Illinois University by interacting with students, running events, and gathering feedback
  • Working with members of the Audacy and PowerPuck team, help develop tactics to promote the systems on site after installation is complete
  • Qualifications

    REQUIREMENTS

  • Pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Marketing or related field
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to take initiative and own projects
  • Multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Work effectively with other members of the organization and outside agencies
  • Understands and utilizes relevant social media platforms
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud a plus
  • Experience with HTML a plus
  • Experience with SalesForce a plus
