CDK Global s Learning and Development team focuses on creating a universal language of leadership around the world to facilitate career development across functions and geographies. It is the means by which we get closer to one CDK through solidifying positive behaviors in individual leaders and the people they lead worldwide. The Learning and Development function is responsible for delivering the learning strategy to the business, and as such, the intern role will play a crucial part to this success. This will be achieved through the design and delivery of enterprise wide L&D initiatives and supporting the ad hoc learning needs of the organization through thought partnership and collaboration with Human Resources Partners and business leaders. The role will provide the intern exposure to cross functional project teams, leadership/soft skill development programs, and projects including program survey evaluation and analysis.
On a day-to-day basis, the intern will provide administrative and program development support to the Learning & Development function. The role has responsibility for the smooth coordination of training courses including: communications with suppliers, trainers, delegates and managers; venue sourcing, price negotiations, booking and managing, sourcing and procuring materials. The intern will have an opportunity to assist in developing material and making sure that the material reaches the intended recipients efficiently, effectively and within budget.
